Or do you want to experience the midnight-sun, nature and tranquility of Lapland? Do you appreciate to feel comfortable during your vacation and have services nearby? Then this is the place for You! In Ruka there are events all year around!

From the airport in Kuusamo it's 20 km to our cabin, it is located about 300m from the ski slopes. A ski-cab passes every hour and snowmobile, skipaths are also available near the cabin. About 4km away is the town centre with shops, restaurants and other social services. There are rights to fish and only 4 km to a bathing place.

The cabin, which is one of two apartments in a semi-attached house, lies in a quiet and beautiful forest-area with a perfect view over the slopes and Ruka. The cabin was built in 2005 and is suitable for children.

The cabin is 84m² on the first floor with two bedrooms, a kitchen, a livingroom, bathroom, sauna and approx. 2.5m² utility room with a 2.5kW drier with capacity to dry 8-10 persons clothes. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, a stove with oven, refrigerator, freezer and a micro-wave. The Tulikivi-fireplace brings warmth and mood. Also the cabin is heated by electric heating. The upper floor has two bedrooms with totally 4 beds. There are terraces on both sides of the cabin which are roofed. On the terrace is also a LPG-grill. There's also room to store ski-equipment in the cabin.

Under peak season the cabin is rented out weekly ( for example during the Ruskaperiod ). Week ending on the Sunday and with respect for people suffering from allergies, smoking and animals are not allowed indoors!
